Choices

"Faced with a choice"

What makes a choice “right” or “wrong”?
Who influences teen choices the most?
Do parent rules affect teen choices?

Dictionary definition of right and wrong:
Right-"in accordance with what is good, proper, or just: right conduct."
Wrong-"not in accordance with what is morally right or good"
Teens are influenced by the Media as well as their Friends. (peer pressure)
Parent rules do affect teen choices, and different parenting styles have different effects on teen choices.

  1. Right or wrong is hard to be defined in my mind because we all have different personal beliefs. What may be "right" to someone could be "wrong" to another.

I have seen many teens be influenced by peer pressure when it comes to choices.

For those who believe "everything happens for a reason" would that then make a "wrong" choice become "right" because it leads you to how your life is supposed to be?
